With the weather getting colder and the nights drawing in, HETAS is urging people to think about how they’re choosing and using woodburning stoves to make a difference on this year’s Clean Air Day (Thursday 8 October).

Led by Global Action Plan, Clean Air Day is the UK’s largest air pollution campaign which aims to improve public understanding of air pollution and explain easy actions everyone can take to tackle air pollution to protect the environment and our health. HETAS is a non-profit organisation committed to ever better practice in the use of biomass and other solid fuels, and is supporting Clean Air Day 2020 by raising awareness of the need to choose and use the right woodburner with the right fuel to help make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone.

Three steps to environmentally responsible burning in the home
